Gatherings bring the SCYC Community together next to the healing energy of the Sheep River to practice all aspects of yoga both on and off the mat in communion with each other and the environment around us. All are welcome.

These SCYC get-togethers typically take place over a weekend during the summer months out at Wolf Willow, an acreage located just outside of Turner Valley.  The weekends are filled with yoga classes, meditation, pranayama, consciousness discussions, nature walks, river ceremonies, celebration, and more!

Everyone is welcome to join for as much or as little of the weekend as they are able.  For those staying overnight, there are plenty of scenic areas to set up a tent as well as open space to park campers.

As with all SCYC events, there is no charge for the weekend yoga offerings or for accommodation.  All SCYC events run on a strictly voluntary basis.  All we ask is that everyone contribute in some way to the success of the event, including contribution to the food for the weekend.  In keeping with yogic tradition all food follows a vegetarian diet.  Other contributions may include teaching a class, or offering a services such as reiki, tarot readings, nature walks, etc. to those attending.

At the end of your weekend, if you feel you have benefited from the experience, you are welcome to donate according to your means to support the ongoing work of SCYC.  For more information, please see our Karma Funding Page.

If you are interested in contributing a service to the schedule for our next gathering, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact us at with a description of the yoga class or service you would like to provide.
